Hello Kaloki, we appreciate your positive feedback
Thank you for your feedback and concern regarding the road repairs. The project is currently in the procurement phase and in two weeks the contractor will be handed over the site to commence work immediately. We assure you that every effort is being made to expedite the process for timely completion.
Thank you Moses, we acknowledge your concerns. We wish to clarify the situation as follow in order to provide a clear understanding of the ongoing efforts by the County Government:
The old project sump was severely affected by the March-April-May floods, which rendered it non-functional. However, the PMC retrieved the pump and stored it securely to prevent further damage. In response to the setback, the government allocated funds in the current Financial Year to construct a new sump and extend water distribution to the Kasikeu Dispensary.
To ensure the construction is done effectively and sustainably, the project is scheduled to commence immediately after the October-November-December rains to avoid similar weather-related setbacks. Currently, the project is in the procurement stage and we are working diligently to ensure its timely completion. We remain committed to delivering quality and sustainable solutions while upholding transparency and accountability. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to address this matter.
