The Emali/Mulala Ward Music and Cultural Festival took place on 3rd November 2023 at Springhill Kwa Kakulu CTTI as part of preparations for the County and National Kenya Music and Cultural Festival (KMCF).

At the Ward level, the allocated budget was utilized for:

- Hiring tents and a public address system.
- Paying adjudicators for their services.

During this event, 40 performing arts groups competed in various categories, including music, dance, elocution, and exhibitions. From these, 40 groups qualified to proceed to the County Music and Cultural Festival held on 9th and 10th November 2023 at Wote Green Public Park.

At the County level, the budget was allocated towards:

- Hiring buses to transport 386 participants (133 male, 230 female, 106 youth, and 15 persons with disabilities) to the event.

Following this, 39 groups from Emali/Mulala Ward qualified for the National Level KMCF, held from 1st to 9th December 2023 at Wote Technical Training Institute (WTTI).

At the National level, the remaining budget was used to facilitate the transportation of 360 participants to the event.

Clarification:
The budget was fully utilized to support logistical aspects of the festivals, including transport, venue setup, and facilitation of adjudicators. Kindly If there are any specific concerns regarding participant support, further clarification can be provided.

Thank you for your positive feedback and for recognizing the progress made through the grafted avocado seedlings program. We are pleased to hear that the initiative has positively impacted the avocado value chain, enhancing productivity and economic potential for farmers.Your suggestion for expanding the project is in our plan, and we are actively considering scaling up to ensure more farmers benefit.
